Notice of PEOC Course Enrollment and payment for Fall 2023
1.Target:
All of students who have official registered student status in NCKU. (Bachelor, master and doctoral students) (Including outgoing exchange students).
2. Selecting Courses:
Please filled out the google sheet to enroll the elective courses.
※Students that wish to apply for course waiver and transference are required to gain permission from their department office via the “PEOC Course Waiver and Transference Inquiry Form” before selecting the course, then approach their department office with their application form as well course transcript after the course ends.
※Those who are eligible for credit fees exemption, please upload supporting documents (such as transcripts of previous years, certificate of ranking, etc.) to google sheet.
3.Tuition Payment:
- Payment standard:
- NTD16,500 per credit
- If you have the eligibility for exemption: NTD3,300 per credit
- Undergraduate:
The students who have won the Academic Excellence Award or the top 10% outstanding students of each department. (Please upload your transcript and proof of Academic Achievement Award, or ranking certificate.)
b.Graduate:
Outstanding students who are recommended by the departments. (Please upload the transcript with recommendation agreement from the department.)
- Procedure:
- OIA will provide the course selection list to the registrar division after the period of the course enrollment.
- Then, the registrar division will transfer the information to the payment platform and inform the payment deadline and amount through email.
- Students shall pay the credit fees before the deadline.
- After the deadline, the registrar division will provide the list of payment completed to OIA.
※Those who are overdue to pay the fee will be regarded as giving up the eligibility.
4.Refund:
If a student withdraws from a course within two weeks after Purdue University starts, the student is allowed a full refund; refunds are not allowed under any other circumstances. Students that have withdrawn from the course and wish to receive a refund have to fill in the PEOC refund application and apply to the Registrar Division in 5 working days after the course withdrawal deadline.
5.Course Waiver and Transference:
Students that wish to apply for course waiver and transference are required to gain permission from their department office via the “PEOC Course Waiver and Transference Inquiry Form” before selecting the course, then approach their department office with their application form as well course transcript after the course ends. Please be reminded that after the course ends, all course waiver and transference procedures must be completed in one week after the upcoming semester begins.
